We are In Love with Sol Mates and St. Croix!! I discovered this villa on social media and couldn't believe it was true. My husband and I have Always wanted to visit St. Croix and when I shared the villa pics with him, Sol Mates was our plan. We visited this past August and are already planning our next visit. The view, the pool, the villa, and the grounds make for a Guaranteed Great stay!! I've never been a pool girl, but I'm a Sol Mates pool girl now. The owners have set up the villa for comfort. The area is quiet, private, Beautiful!! I can't say enough Great things about Sol Mates. We've already discovered favorite eateries, and a Great local park/beach. The laid back atmosphere is just what we were looking for. We can't wait to return!! Thank you for a Wonderful vacation. Lionel and Stacy Alexander. ❤

Paradise Inside & Out -- We just got back from a lovely stay at Solmates, St. Croix. The villa is gorgeous and so comfortable. The pool is fantastic, of course, as is the view! But I also just loved lounging around and reading with the breeze brought in by the overhead fans. Very peaceful. We loved St. Croix! We snorkeled as much as we could and would highly recommend the Buck Island tours via Caribbean Sea Adventure and the Snookah Dive in Cane Bay via Aquaman. We had a lovely meal at Duggan's Reef, which is just across the drive from Solmates and were very impressed by the Seaside Market in Christiansted to get our food to eat in. All in all, it was a great vacation and we're already planning on what to do on our next trip! Thank you so much!

Incredible views! Very cozy.
We loved our stay! The place is small but charming and clean. It has great views and a nice little pool. Great beaches and good restaurants are close by. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at SolMates. Although the bungalows seem close, it is very private. You get a good feeling when you walk in, like home. Very nicely decorated and beautifully furnished. The pool is wonderful. The views are breath taking, day or night. It's close to a few restaurants, Blue Water Terrace was our favorite. The food was great everywhere we ate. We drove into Christiansted several times it's about a 10-15 minutes away. Many great places to eat and shop along the waterfront boardwalk. Oh yes!! shopping, beautiful jewelry. The beaches are beautiful and are public. We visited a few of them. We really appreciated Christie welcoming us to St. Croix at the airport and guiding us to SolMates in the dark. She had a snack waiting and went over the map answering our questions about things to do. We went snorkeling with Big Beard, great time, with a beach BBQ afterwards, great crew. WiFi was available but our cell service was bad. Just a heads up..Verizon is not in St.Croix. It's At&t or Sprint. Great vacation!

Perfect Vacation -- SolMates was terrific. The set up works perfectly for two couples, with two bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool every night and marveled at the beauty of the night sky. We also enjoyed the local restaurants -- Duggans and the Blue Water Terrace. It was nice to also be able to eat in and grill outdoors. We especially appreciated being met at the airport and given a great overview even thought we arrived seven hours late! Highly recommend.

This home away from home provides an atmosphere for a great island get away. " Solmates" is tastefully and comfortably furnished with beautiful azure water views, wonderful sea breezes and your own private swimming pool! Who could ask for more? I would highly recommend this villa for a vacation rental. You won’t be disappointed!

If you want an island getaway that truly gets you away, this is the place. The villa is comfortable and laid out well, both for prIvacy and for spending time together. I spent a week there in August (That's me in the pool, white hat, blue rash shirt, red toes.) Went to sleep to lovely breezes. Woke to spectacular views across pool to ocean. By Day 2, I felt an island shift in my body--"Don't worry. Be happy." Enjoyed beautiful local beaches--Great for swimming, surfing, boating, snorkeling, or just walking on the beach. A variety of fresh, tasty, and delicious meals are served at the many restaurants. Also enjoyed whipping up some meals at "home" in the villa's well-appointed galley kitchen. Looking forward to experiencing another visit.

Suddenly I realized I was not in Iowa anymore -- or even in Connecticut, for that matter.
The gentle ocean breezes, the warm sun and warm friendly people all told me that I could spend a lot more time on St. Croix and at Solmates.
Solmates, with its fantastic ocean view and great East End location, had every amenity. (It could use a toaster upgrade, however 🙂
The new furnishings were a pleasure. The private pool, especially in the early mornings and late afternoons, was a sheer delight.
The nearby eateries offered a variety of great food. I especially enjoyed The Pickled Greek for the food, fun, and unique homemade baklava ice cream. Duggin's Reef, just down the hill, was comparable to any fine dining anywhere, in my experience. The food and drinks were outstanding.
All in all -- Solmates is a true slice of paradise... "I go to come back!"

Solmates is the perfect hideaway for a honeymoon or a romantic island elope! With your own private patio and pool, you'll never need to leave. But, with so many things to do and see on St Croix, you'll want to venture out at least a few times!
